TiEcon Delhi 2009 is organized by TiE , Delhi.The theme of TiEcon is ” Smart Entrepreneurship in challenging times”. TiE in Delhi is celebrating it’s 10th Anniversary.TiEcon Delhi will focus on inspiring & educating entrepreneurs on aspects that impact the entrepreneurial environment and the opportunities relevant to Indian companies, particularly those in the start up and growth phases.It will focus on relevant content, practical & smart entrepreneurial insights, and a very unique networking experience. The inaugural address would be given by Home Minister Shri P.Chidambaram. Registration fee of Rs. 3861 applicable for the students only on presentation of Identity Card.The venue is Hotel taj palace, New Delhi. As a part of this .TiE Delhi in association with Canon India Limited, presents – TiEcon Delhi Photo Contest 2009.Amateur and professional photographers from across the country are invited to participate in this unique initiative of TiE Delhi Chapter.More details can be found on the website.

The event includes : Panel sessions with panelists who are the best in the business, whether opinion leaders, policy makers, investors, industry leaders, Panel sessions designed to focus on the opportunities & challenges thrown up by the recent economic situation , recent and relevant entrepreneurial stories & experiences across sectors/regions interspersed in the various sessions, with emphasis on the things they did right.TiE – Lumis Partners Smart Entrepreneur Awards will recognize early stage entrepreneurs who have started – and achieved some degree of success – with very exciting business ideas.
